Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • 5 years of experience in database design and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development.
  • Application development and relational database experience.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience:
  • Experience with data warehouse architecture and data modeling.
  • Experience developing and updating ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data systems.
  • Experience with data auditing, performance optimization, and data reliability best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure systems such as data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Prepare, manipulate, and access data using various technologies.
  • Interpret data and perform statistical analyses to generate actionable insights.
  • Provide analytical support for key business projects.
  • Design and maintain quality control procedures for multi-system datasets.
  • Develop data models based on existing architecture and metadata standards.
  • Create data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
  • Apply ETL/ELT techniques to integrate large datasets from diverse sources.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, auditing, and performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends through training, publications, and professional networks.
Should Have:
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Adaptability to evolving data and technology needs.
Skills:
  • Expertise with Ab Initio.
  • Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of database design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of data movement concepts and data exchange formats.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
