We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site development, grading, and stormwater management. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, along with exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills. You will play a critical role in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Civil Engineer looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role in the Engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement complex engineering plans, objectives, and solutions.
2. Conduct design and constructability reviews of plans.
3. Supervise and direct professional and technical staff.
4. Oversee the work of contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
5. Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings etc.)
6. Manage budgets, resources, and deadlines.
7. Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
8. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, urban planners, and other engineers.
9. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
10. Develop and implement innovative strategies for streamlining and improving processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
4. Proven experience with site development, grading, and stormwater management.
5. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
6. Familiarity with design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
7. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
11. Ability to work in a team, as well as independently, in a fast-paced and high volume environment.
12. Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
13. Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
