RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Marketing - Digital Merchandising.
Summary:
We're seeking a strategic and consumer-focused Lead Buyer to drive seasonal footwear assortments across direct retail channels, with a primary focus on digital commerce. This role blends data-driven decision-making with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics to deliver compelling product assortments.
Responsibilities:
* Own and execute seasonal assortment strategies across multiple consumer segments and channels
* Use historical data, analytics, and real-time feedback to inform future planning and optimize current performance
* Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, allocation, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure assortments meet consumer demand and business goals
* Participate in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading to drive growth and profitability
* Manage assortment building, system entry, and coordination with planning and allocation teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience (5+ years in merchandising, product creation, or retail)
* Strong understanding of retail and digital metrics (e.g., sell-through, margin, AUR, UPT)
* Experience in footwear, apparel, or consumer product merchandising
* Ability to build consumer-informed, data-backed merchandising strategies
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
* Comfortable presenting in large forums and driving cross-functional collaboration
* Project management experience and ability to lead initiatives from concept to execution

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
