Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of GPS and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) into aircraft flight control systems.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement navigation solutions for high-performance jet aircraft and missile systems.
  • Apply advanced principles of sensor fusion and blending to achieve accurate and reliable navigation solutions.
  • Develop, test, and validate navigation solutions capable of operating in GPS-denied or contested environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including avionics, flight controls, and mission systems, to ensure seamless integration of navigation solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance, trade studies, and design recommendations to program leadership.

Job Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience integrating navigation systems into military aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of GPS and inertial navigation systems, including their integration with flight control and mission systems.
  • Experience developing navigation solutions for high-performance aircraft or missile applications.
  • Expertise in navigation blending techniques for accurate and reliable system performance.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
