Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for a contract with a client in Sylmar, CA. Responsibilities include driving process improvements and resolving issues through innovative methods across cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour

Manufacturing Engineer II job responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute complex technical tasks in manufacturing engineering, including process improvements and troubleshooting across multiple systems.
- Apply engineering knowledge to support business objectives and manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop and validate new methods and approaches for resolving issues, especially where precedent does not exist.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through peer reviews and verification/validation activities to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support product development and commercialization by identifying key issues and recommending innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including product development and process improvement.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical tasks and apply creative problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with risk management, design verification/validation, and compliance with medical device regulations.
