Job Title: Senior Front-End Software Engineer (Angular Modernization & UI Optimization)
Location: Canada (Remote)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Software Engineer to lead the modernization of Theatrical systems, transitioning from AngularJS to Angular 2+. This role involves system analysis, backlog development, and implementation, requiring close collaboration with product, engineering, QA, support, and systems teams to ensure a seamless transition.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing Theatrical systems using AngularJS framework.
  • Develop and execute a structured backlog to migrate systems to Angular 2+.
  • Optimize front-end performance, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, QA, and support.
  • Implement and enhance DataTables, jQuery, Gulp, Jasmine, and Kafka in the modernization process.
  • Ensure SQL Server compatibility during front-end transitions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to front-end frameworks.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in AngularJS and Angular 2+.
  • Strong experience with DataTables, jQuery, Gulp, Jasmine, and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database integration.
  • Ability to analyze, document, and execute modernization
  • Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, QA, and support teams.
