Project - Optimized Sourcing Senior Contract Manager
  • On-site position 5 days/wk in either Arlington Heights, IL or Dallas, TX.
  • Hours will be 9a-5p CST, no OT.

Role Summary
  • Manage contract negotiations and administer contracts, systems, procedures, and methods.
  • Execute standard contract templates with client terms and conditions, engaging in moderately complex negotiations.
  • This role requires a strong project management approach and the ability to be a self-starter who is willing to dig in and research without waiting for instruction.
  • The ideal candidate must be proactive rather than reactive, capable of resolving problems quickly, and must take initiative to address and solve issues.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Negotiate contracts for internal company's clients for purchases of goods and services.
  • Implement assigned sourcing strategies in procurement events.
  • Interpret terms and conditions of contractual obligations.
  • Handle contract modifications, RFPs, pricing, revisions, and vendor terms.
  • Review and administer long-term/blanket purchase contracts.
  • Address contract issues and negotiate licensing agreements including renewals and new business.
  • Drive negotiations, leveraging key points to meet objectives.
  • Administer contracts in line with company and customer policies.
  • Interpret and analyze contract documents, coordinating with Legal and Business Units.
  • Prepare and execute statements of work.
  • Resolve sourcing issues, applying industry knowledge to evaluate new technologies.
  • Recommend strategic network architecture planning and network evolution policy decisions.
Qualifications

Education:
Preferred Bachelor's degree, JD strongly desired
  • Experience: Typically, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred strong legal background (such as paralegal certification)

Pay Range: $45 - $50

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
