Akkodis is seeking a QA Lead for a Contract with a client in San Francisco, CA/ San Ramon, CA. You will establish and lead a formal QA program for data integration and ETL workflows while designing and executing test plans for SSIS and ADF pipelines.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Lead job responsibilities include:
- Establish and implement a formal QA program for data integration and ETL workflows across enterprise systems.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for SSIS and Azure Data Factory pipelines, validating data transformations and load accuracy.
- Define and implement QA automation frameworks for data validation, regression testing, and CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to align QA efforts with project goals and ensure compliance with business rules and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct performance and scalability testing for ETL jobs and optimize data validation scripts for accuracy and efficiency.
- Create technical documentation, mentor QA team members, and support knowledge transfer for operational teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years in QA/testing, including at least 5 years focused on data integration and ETL testing.
- Hands-on experience testing Snowflake and Azure cloud services (ADF, ADLS, Function App, Batch, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for validating data transformations and load accuracy.
