RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Solution Architect in Chicago, IL.

REQUIREMENTS:
Conversational AI/NLP Implementation:
* Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU tools (e.g., Amazon Lex, Google Dialogflow, Rasa, Azure Bot Framework)
* Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models for dynamic, context-aware responses
* Designed and deployed chatbot solutions across web and mobile platforms

Cloud Architecture:
* Strong preference for AWS expertise-especially Lex, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB
* Familiar with cloud-native services, including compute, storage, and networking architecture

Integration & DevOps:
* Experience designing APIs and integrating chatbot applications with backend services
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU platforms, such as:
* Amazon Lex
* Google Dialogflow
* Microsoft Azure Bot Framework
* Rasa (open-source)

* Practical understanding of Conversational Design principles (intents, entities, fallback handling)
* Familiarity or hands-on work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
* Leveraging LLMs with structured/unstructured data for dynamic responses
* Proven track record of designing, building, and deploying chatbots on web and/or mobile platforms

Cloud Architecture (AWS-focused)
Deep knowledge of AWS services, especially:
* Amazon Lex, Lambda, API Gateway
* DynamoDB (NoSQL), S3, CloudWatch
* Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud solutions

Understanding of cloud-native principles:
* Stateless architecture, event-driven design, serverless computing

Integration & DevOps:
* Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration

Knowledge of integrating chatbots with:
* Backend services (e.g., CRM, ERP, ticketing systems)
* Authentication layers (e.g., OAuth, Cognito)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
