Job Details
The Network Analyst, for the company will be a member of their IT Global Networking team at the company's Houston, office reporting to the Manager Network Services
This position will work within the company's operations team to support their enterprise network and contribute to projects when needed requiring network expertise.

Act as a resource for reported network performance or application performance issues
Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software
Provide technical support for field networks to include industrial switches, routers, and wireless bridges
Utilize Apache's service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests

Troubleshooting experience with large enterprises
Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly articulate complex issues
Customer interfacing capabilities
Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewall and wireless hardware
Experience with SolarWinds Network Management suite of applications
Experience with Riverbed WAN optimization appliance, Cascade and Net Profiler is a plus
Experience with Gigamon, Wireshark and packet level analysis and application performance root cause analysis is a plus
Experience using Splunk to help with troubleshooting is a plus
Experience troubleshooting EIGRP, BGP, Firewalls, IPSEC/SSL VPNs, Spanning tree and network security
