Role Name: SAS Migration Lead
Location: Matthews, NC (Onsite)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Technical Lead – Data & SAS

Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic migration of legacy SAS systems to modern Java/React-based platforms.
• Architect scalable solutions that replicate SAS functionality using contemporary technologies.
• Oversee the analysis, documentation, and reengineering of SAS workflows and business logic.
• Guide cross-functional teams in translating SAS ETL and reporting processes into Java services and ReactJS interfaces.
• Ensure data integrity and performance during migration through rigorous testing and validation.
• Mentor developers on SAS and modern tech stack integration, promoting best practices and code quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align migration goals with business objectives and timelines.
• Stay current with SAS updates and emerging technologies in data engineering and full-stack development.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in SAS development, with 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, and SAS Procedures.
• Proven experience in leading migration projects from SAS to modern platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Java and working knowledge of ReactJS.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
