Our work depends on a Network Administrator joining our team to maintain our customer's multi-faceted network, as well as collaborate with our network team and the customer on the development of new requirements.
HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Manage the functionality and efficiency of computer networks (LAN/WAN). Monitor data traffic/network performance and controls network resources to ensure reliable transmission. Troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
Maintain documentation for network infrastructure, to include topology and configuration data.
Display a comprehensive understanding of communication and routing protocols to include, but not limited to TCP/IP, BGP and EIGRP.
Perform maintenance and upgrade of networks including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and remote access systems
Working knowledge of High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) devices.
Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, etc.)
Knowledge, eagerness, and adaptability to address a wide scope of network issues, from clearing port security to aiding and driving the development of new networks and networking practices.
Interface with internal and external IT teams and agencies to maintain and troubleshoot existing infrastructure, as well as build anew.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience and the required Security + and CCNA certs
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in Network Administration.
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance
Required Skills and Abilities: Leadership, Communication (written and verbal) and problem solving.
Preferred Skills: Bachelor's Degree in a IT related field, ITIL v4, CCNP, CASP + or higher level certification(s)
Location: On Customer Site in Newington, VA
Travel: 25%

The likely salary range for this position is $99,450 - $134,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
