Job Details

Marketing Assistant / Marketing Specialist

Location: Seattle, WA
Contract: 3 Months
Pay: $30-$35/hr on W2 (No benefits)

Job Responsibilities

  • Grow and optimize the email channel to support device unit attainment goals.
  • Build, launch, and manage email campaigns including automated and lifecycle programs to drive traffic and increase device sales.
  • Develop and execute A/B and multivariate (MVT) testing strategies to improve sales performance and unit sell-through.
  • Analyze and report email program performance and key metrics to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for the email/CRM roadmap.
  • Collaborate with design teams on creative asset production.
  • Edit XML/HTML and publish marketing content through a Content Management System (CMS).

Typical Tasks

  • Manage end-to-end email campaign creation, testing, launch, and performance tracking.
  • Build automated email workflows based on customer segments and device sales goals.
  • Conduct testing (A/B, MVT) to refine messaging, creative elements, and segmentation.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reporting dashboards and present insights to senior management.
  • Partner with design and product teams for asset production and campaign execution.
  • Update site content using CMS tools, including HTML/XML edits as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience executing digital marketing campaigns (email, mobile/on-device, display).
  • Strong copywriting skills for customer-facing digital content.
  • Proficiency with CMS platforms and ability to edit basic HTML and XML.
  • 1+ years of experience using SQL or similar query tools for data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data manipulation).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor s degree (BA/BS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale email marketing programs.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and web traffic reporting.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
  • Ability to scope, manage, and deliver projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize effectively.
