In this role you will be a part of the development and optimization of Axis Actuarial software for one of our major clients. You should have proven extensive Axis Actuarial software experience including model development/maintenance, SQL/database ETL, and VBA scripting.Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.Use your knowledge of fixed and variable annuity products to optimize the Axis Actuarial software in implementation and conversionsWork with the Project Manager to develop courses of actionDefining the product roadmap and working with development teams to ensure the software meets market needs.Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

5+ proven years of experience customizing and optimizing Axis Actuarial financial software (software by Moody's Analytics)FIA MRB experience highly preferred (Feasibility and Impact Assessment Market Readiness Benchmark) Clear experience working with fixed and variable annuity productsBachelor's degree required (Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Economics)ASA or FSA designations are a major plusMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with Axis Actuarial software: Including model development/maintenance, SQL/database ETL, VBA scripting, knowledge of Datalink and high-level objects such as Fund, Embedded Block, or ALM.Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of, and/or success in managerial roles involving, technical actuarial subject matter specialization, especially in Life and Non-Life industry and regulatory products.Extensive knowledge of, and/or success in roles involving, directing efforts to identify and address client needs for a global network of professional services consulting firms
