We're looking for a Desktop Tech to join our team.
  • Provide hands-on support for operating systems, endpoint security, software distribution, and hardware management. Utilize monitoring tools to proactively maintain the health of IT systems in lab and remote environments.
  • Respond to escalated incidents that require physical presence. Travel to hub and remote sites to resolve IT, network, or device issues that cannot be addressed remotely.
  • Execute installation and configuration tasks following established procedures and checklists. Contribute to documentation and process improvement.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow. Maintain accurate records of IT assets and activities in compliance with ITIL practices.
  • Participate in team, individual, and collaborative projects involving IT infrastructure, lab environments, and warehousing systems.
  • Deliver flexible, skill-based support for undocumented or evolving IT needs, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT support experience
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows, Linux, networking, telecom, lab equipment, and process control domains
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with users and management face-to-face
  • Certifications in ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, or Linux
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms

Responsabilits :

  • Fournir un support pratique pour les systmes d'exploitation, la scurit des terminaux, la distribution de logiciels et la gestion du matriel.
  • Utiliser des outils de surveillance pour maintenir de manire proactive la sant des systmes informatiques en laboratoire et distance.
  • Rpondre aux incidents escalads ncessitant une prsence physique. Se dplacer vers des sites centraux ou distants pour rsoudre des problmes informatiques, rseau ou matriels impossibles traiter distance.
  • Excuter les tches d'installation et de configuration selon des procdures et des listes de contrle tablies. Contribuer la documentation et l'amlioration des processus.
  • Grer les incidents, les demandes de service et les changements via ServiceNow. Tenir des registres prcis des actifs et activits informatiques conformment aux pratiques ITIL.
  • Participer des projets d'quipe, individuels et collaboratifs impliquant l'infrastructure informatique, les environnements de laboratoire et les systmes d'entreposage.
  • Fournir un support flexible bas sur les comptences pour des besoins informatiques non documents ou en volution, en s'appuyant sur une expertise technique et des capacits de rsolution de problmes.


Qualifications requises :

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'exprience en support informatique.
    Matrise du support Windows, Linux, rseaux, tlcommunications, quipements de laboratoire et domaines de contrle des processus.
    Exprience dans un environnement bas sur ITIL.
    Excellentes comptences en communication (crite et orale) et capacit interagir en personne avec les utilisateurs et la direction.
    Certifications ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft ou Linux.
    Familiarit avec ServiceNow ou une plateforme ITSM similaire
