Job Title: Performance Tester
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite)
Duration: Fulltime with ComTec
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and executing formal Performance test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
- Expert in LoadRunner custom coding at least 2-3 protocols
- Batch performance scripting and testing
- Workload modeling and data preparation
- Should be able to identity performance issues and articulate correctly to the project team
- Knowledge of creating simulation tool for performance testing
- Good understanding of performance engineering concepts
- Good knowledge of Performance Test Procedures and documentation on Test Evidences, Test Results etc.
- Involve in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation,
- Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
- Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.
- Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience conducting Performance testing of mission-critical applications.
- Performance testing experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools.
- Working knowledge of Automated Test and Test Management Tools (e.g. HP ALM).
- 5+ years of experience with HP Load Runner/ Performance Center.
- Experience with scripting and testing using Silk Performer and JMeter.
- Good Expereience with Apache JMeter, LoadView, LoadNinja
