Hourly Rate: $45-$55 (depending on experience)
This role will start onsite and may transition to a hybrid arrangement in the future.
A growing real estate and property management group is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator/Developer for a project-based engagement to build a robust SharePoint Intranet. You'll handle migration from a legacy CMS, environment setup, intranet buildout, and user training for ~50-100 users in a Microsoft Cloud environment (Azure, Office 365).
Key Responsibilities:
Assess current SharePoint and CMS environments; develop and execute a comprehensive migration and architecture plan.
Design, build, and deploy a scalable SharePoint Intranet that meets organizational needs for content management and collaboration.
Migrate content from legacy systems and ensure data integrity.
Serve as the SharePoint Administrator, ensuring performance, security, and user access controls.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.
Stay engaged post-implementation for bug fixes and support during the stabilization period.
Collaborate closely with the IT Manager and project stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Project Scope:
- Planning & Discovery (2-3 weeks): Requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, legacy content inventory, IA/governance, migration tools selection.
- Environment Setup (1-2 weeks): Configure SharePoint instance, user permissions, security, branding, and site structure.
- Intranet Buildout (2-4 weeks): Develop core features, departmental sites, custom web parts (if needed), testing, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Content Migration (3-5 weeks): Data cleanup, mapping, testing, incremental/final migration, validation.
- Training & Go-Live (1-2 weeks): End-user/admin training, go-live support, documentation handoff.
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience with SharePoint migrations, architecture, and administration in Microsoft Cloud (Azure, O365)
- Strong skills in SharePoint Intranet design and user training
- Ability to work onsite in Downtown Denver
- Excellent communication and self-direction
