Job Summary:
Jabil has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing productivity. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
Analyze current production methods and identify areas for improvement.
Develop new or modify existing manufacturing procedures.
Implement lean principles to reduce cycle times and improve throughput.
Design layouts for efficient use of equipment and materials.
Conduct time studies and line balancing exercises.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of operations.
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to equipment downtime, quality defects, and other challenges.
Train staff on new processes and provide guidance throughout implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
