Description:
**Hybrid onsite | Gloucester, MA**

As an IT Associate, you will gain exposure to various aspects of our IT department. Initially, you will develop and strengthen your technical expertise while also learning our business. You will experience all phases of the project life cycle. You will partner with various functional groups to explore and identify innovative ways to leverage technology that contributes to business success. As you grow within our IT team, you'll have the chance to steer your career towards either business analysis or technical expertise, depending on your evolving interests and skills. You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the success of our business.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $35/hr - $45/hr

Responsibilities:
What you'll do:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional business teams to address technology challenges
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Supporting the development of data models for advanced analytics
  • Partnering with business users to create reports for enhancing business insights
  • Working closely with outside vendors and consultants
  • Providing dedicated end-user support
  • Researching new technology trends and opportunities
  • Coordinating system implementations and new application releases

In this role you will work with users from many different departments and work on many different projects and tasks.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • BS Degree in an Information Technology field, or BS Degree in Business with an interest in Management Information Systems
  • Solid project management skills
  • Computer programming experience (Preferably work-related experience)
  • Knowledge of database concepts (preferably Azure-SQL or Progress)
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (PowerBI, PowerApp, PowerAutomate and Sharepoint)
  • Knowledge of Data engineering tasks such as data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and grow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on cross functional teams


Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field.


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
