Job Title: Technical Support Business Analyst

Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

Contract Type: 12-month W2 contract

Pay Rate: $52 to $62 per hour, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are partnering with a global technology leader to help them hire a Technical Support Business Analyst for their Support Engineering team. This group handles a high volume of customer support tickets and is looking for a detail-oriented analyst to triage issues, analyze data, and improve customer experience through dashboarding and operational insights.

This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL and dashboarding experience, who also excels at written and verbal communication particularly in summarizing technical information for executive audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as first responder for high-severity support events and escalations
  • Analyze incoming customer tickets and validate issues using logs and system data
  • Triage and route issues to the correct technical teams for resolution
  • Develop and maintain automated dashboards using Tableau and AWS QuickSight
  • Perform basic SQL queries to extract, investigate, and report on data trends
  • Identify recurring problems and work cross-functionally to implement long-term solutions
  • Participate in ad-hoc Chime calls with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with support engineers, developers, and product managers

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write executive-level summaries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
  • Hands-on experience with basic SQL queries
  • Familiarity with Tableau and AWS QuickSight or similar BI tools
  • Ability to manage high volumes of tickets and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in technical support, customer success, or app operations roles
  • Knowledge of advanced SQL query development
  • Experience with additional BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker)

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Bellevue, WA
