Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
Traveler's is seeking an Identity & Access Management technical and hands-on professional with a passion to help transform how a Fortune 500 company protects it's on-premises and cloud identities. This candidate will play an integral role as part of our transition to more forward thinking and exciting Access Management (AM) models that support on-premises/cloud solutions and zero trust architectures. This person should also be creative and have a vision for how to best leverage the technologies/processes to protect our data and systems, while allowing our business partners to move quickly and securely by leveraging Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Federation, Directory Services and Access Control systems. In addition to helping support the Access Management (AM), this person will provide input into strategic decisions and cross train other members of the Access Management (AM) team. This candidate will also help plan and execute at a strategic level, lead, and influence resources and outcomes, develop Access Management (AM) strategy, and lead the implementation of strategy including partnership and collaboration with other teams and organizations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive access management initiatives across diverse technologies and platforms.
What Will You Do?

  • Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing access management team, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and fostering collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Design, develop and execute a comprehensive access management strategy, focusing on SSO, MFA, Legacy Access Management Applications, Okta, SiteMinder, MS Authenticator, MS ADLDS, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Technology Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for Okta, MS Authenticator, SiteMinder and other access management technologies leveraging them effectively to enhance security and user experience.
  • Technology Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of access management solutions across various technologies and platforms ensuring seamless functionality and security.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal security policies related to access management and user authentication. Respond to audit and regulatory requests as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Cybersecurity, audit, legal, and stakeholders to define access policies, user roles, and access control procedures for a diverse technology and lines of business (LOB) landscape. Partner with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure proper resourcing and on-time project deliveries.
  • Legacy Application Integration: Drive strategies for secure access to legacy applications, balancing modern security requirements with the unique challenges of older systems.
  • Cloud Access Managment: Develop and implement strategies for secure access in cloud, ensuring a robust and scalable approach to cloud-based and SaaS solutions.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to meet overall business objectives.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline preferred.
  • Prior experience managing others required.
  • Ten years of relevant experience with Identity and Access management practices, processes required.
  • Five years of experience in developing and implementing solutions in Access Management (AM) technologies (Okta, SiteMinder, MS Authenticator etc.) required.
  • Five years of experience as a technical lead/SME required.
  • Experience in Java, .NET technologies preferred.
  • Demonstrates sound analytic and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are loosely defined and/or conflict with available information.
  • Knows where to obtain information needed to make the appropriate decisions.
  • Breaks a problem down to manageable pieces and implements effective, timely solutions.
  • Is very good at identifying the problem versus the symptom.

What is a Must Have?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of experience in Computer Science or a related field required.
  • One year of experience as a technical lead required.
