Job Opening: Senior Software Engineer III

Location: On-site in Cincinnati, Ohio
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract)

We re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer III to join our agile development team in Cincinnati. You ll be working on innovative, enterprise-grade software solutions within a fast-paced, highly collaborative Agile squad environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive technical excellence and contribute meaningfully to impactful digital projects.

Top Must-Have Skills

Strong Java Development skills, with an emphasis on Swing
Proficiency in SQL and Database Management
Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Web Development (HTML/CSS)
Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Experience working with NetBeans and Visual Studio

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement new features to improve product functionality.
Serve as a core contributor within a cross-functional agile squad.
Write clean, efficient, testable code using best practices and modern tools.
Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared technical standards.
Resolve bugs, troubleshoot issues, and assist end users as needed.
Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
9+ years of experience in software development roles.
Strong foundation in object-oriented and functional programming.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git/GitHub, and software security practices.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with agile development methodologies.

Additional Technical Stack (Preferred)

Python, Angular, React, AWS, Eclipse IDE, Jenkins
Knowledge of CI/CD practices
Familiarity with performance monitoring and tuning in distributed systems
