Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial for enhancing the technological infrastructure and ensuring the alignment of IT solutions with business goals. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between IT and various business units, enhancing system efficiency and member experience. This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units to gather, document, and analyze detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Identify and propose improvements to business processes to enhance system efficiency and productivity.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams and vendors.
  • Design, test, and implement technology solutions in alignment with organizational standards and goals.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, user stories, and test plans.
  • Assist in software and vendor evaluation, focusing on cost-benefit analysis and technical feasibility.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders to validate system functionality.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring system issues and propose long-term solutions to prevent future disruptions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services or credit union sector.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques such as Agile, Waterfall, and JIRA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with core banking systems and financial software is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting credit unions, including data privacy and security standards.

Pay Range: $50.00 - $58.00 Hourly
