Job Title: Project Manager

Job location: 100% Remote

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Job Description:

Ideal Candidate: You are a detail-oriented project manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure and device deployment. You thrive in global environments, excel at cross-functional coordination, and are passionate about delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Project Objective : To execute a comprehensive device refresh across the USA region, ensuring seamless deployment of Windows 11 and mobile devices (Apple & Android) with full lifecycle support.

In-Scope Activities :

  • Project Management : Planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and reporting
  • Asset Management : Tracking, inventory control, and lifecycle documentation
  • Inventory Oversight : Coordination with global and local teams for device counts and readiness
  • Autopilot Pre-Staging : Configuration of Windows 11 devices using Microsoft Autopilot
  • Asset Tagging : Labeling and registration of all devices prior to deployment
  • Logistics : Coordination of shipping, receiving, and deployment schedules within the USA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full stage lifecycle of device rollout.
  • Develop stage plans, risk analysis, and documentation using Computacenter's methodology
  • Coordinate resources and manage delivery of stage products
  • Lead customer staff as part of a mixed project team
  • Monitor and report progress to the overall project manager
  • Manage stage budgets and generate cross-charge documentation
  • Ensure quality assurance and change control processes are followed
  • Maintain configuration and documentation of stage deliverables
  • Represent Computacenter on-site when required

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in global or regional device deployment
  • Proven success managing Windows OS upgrades and mobile device rollouts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot , Intune , and enterprise asset management tools
  • Experience coordinating logistics and inventory across distributed teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across time zones
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
