Summary:
We are seeking an Oracle HCM Security Architect for our client in the Spring area of Houston. This person is responsible for delivering application security for Oracle Cloud HCM and business process controls implementations and assessments. This includes the evaluation, design, implementation, and documentation of security architecture across production and non-production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage application security frameworks in both production and non-production environments, including defining procedures and access governance.
- Design and develop custom roles based on job functions, incorporating security profiles and data roles to support business needs.
- Build and maintain HCM security objects such as Areas of Responsibility, Documents of Record, and Payroll Flows.
- Document security configurations, including roles, data roles, security profiles, SSO setups, user IDs, user categories, password policies, notification settings, and security reporting (secured views).
- Monitor and maintain license consumption and enforce adequate segregation of duties to ensure a compliant security model.
- Collaborate with business leaders and change management teams to guide persona-to-role mapping.
- Partner with Controls Specialists to identify internal control requirements and support Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC) implementations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards, regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX), and audit requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in Oracle HCM
- Experience designing and deploying Oracle Cloud HCM security objects such as Areas of Responsibility, Documents of Record, and Payroll Flows.
