RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Mount Pleasant, WI is seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Support Engineer (Level 3/4) to support and maintain the infrastructure across a dynamic data center campus in the Mount Pleasant, WI area. This role requires hands-on experience with high-availability environments and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, safety protocols, and building management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support mechanical infrastructure across large-capacity and multi-facility data center campuses
* Conduct Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns of one source while maintaining critical load through the remaining source (-N- configuration)
* Execute Power Distribution Unit (PDU) shutdowns for power meter replacements
* Perform Power Interruption Testing (PIT)
* Manage master controller shutdowns and replacements
* Operate and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (EPMS)
* Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and site-specific safety standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
* All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification
* 5+ year(s) of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g. automotive, electrical, controls, data center)
* Experience with electrical systems in high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields
* Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
