As a Support Specialist you will be able to make an impact in one of the most dynamic organizations in the Financial Services industry. As a Support Specialist you will coordinate IT support activities for major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data. In this critical role, you will perform analysis of business and user needs, document requirements, and research gaps to provide process improvements.
Responsibilities
Analyzing and trending data on IT issues
Collaborating with industry leading IT professionals on various projects
Design or modify business processes and the corresponding information technology solutions
Contributing to report distribution as well as IT standards development and enforcement
Responsible for Problem Management of all Innovation & Support teams
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
At least 1 year of experience in Application Technical Support
At least 1 year of experience in Network Support
Preferred Qualifications:
MCSE, MCSA, ITIL Certification
Experience in project management workflow
Basic SQL
2+ years of experience in Application Technical Support
1+ year of experience in Reporting and Analysis
Technical writing skills are a plus.

Will be on a ton of calls that they'll be driving
NOC/Incident Management experience could work

You will be interviewing on a post mortem call
Outage - talk it through, why is happened - team will have follow up calls - process
ServiceNow - problem management records (would be a plus)
Jira - project tracking and tracking of everything outside of ServiceNow
Slack
Google Suite
TCP/IP - understand the 7 layers and high levels maps to connect
Windows environment
VPN's

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
