Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Anderson, South Carolina. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will be responsible for providing hands-on and remote support for desktop systems, printers, and related hardware in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise while delivering exceptional customer service to end users.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on laptops, desktops, and printers, including Zebra printers.
Provide application troubleshooting and support for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac/iOS devices.
Perform hands-on and remote support for Thin Clients and other desktop-related systems.
Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and maintain accurate documentation in the ticketing system.
Conduct desktop imaging and installation of hardware and software as required.
Reset passwords and manage user account issues in line with organizational policies.
Collaborate with team members to address and resolve technical challenges in a warehouse setting.
Deliver high-quality customer service to end users, ensuring a positive support experience.
Assist with basic troubleshooting tasks to maintain optimal system performance.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in desktop support, including hardware and application troubleshooting.
Proficiency in supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac/iOS operating systems.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on effective communication and problem-solving.
Experience with hardware break/fix tasks, particularly for laptops and printers.
Familiarity with desktop imaging and software/hardware installations.
Ability to manage and resolve tickets using a ticketing system.
Knowledge of Thin Client systems and large-scale printer support, such as Zebra printers, is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as A+ or similar are highly desirable.
