The Team: Would you like to be part of the team that builds real-time financial data products & platform? Join us and contribute significantly to the growth of the firm by developing innovative functionality in existing and new products. Supporting and maintaining high revenue products. Achieve the above intelligently and economically using best practices.

You will work with a team of intelligent, ambitious and hard-working software professionals. The team is responsible for the ingestion of real-time pricing data for the platform. Team responsibilities include creating work items from technical requirements, producing architecture/design, implementing requirement, testing, validation of production post deployment and resolving customer issues.

Responsibilities and Impact:

This opportunity is hybrid in our Colorado location working 2 to 3 days in the office. This is the place to hone your existing software development skills while having the opportunity to work with a wide range of new and mature technologies across the full stack of a modern web application.   • Play a key role in the development team to build high-quality, high-performance, scalable code
  • Solve non-routine to complex problems and determine the best solution through cost/benefit analysis.
  • Work on issues that impact design success or address future concepts, products or technologies.
  • Conduct technical walkthroughs and produce technical design documents of complex solutions.
  • Work with product stake holders to understand and clarify requirements to design and develop industry-leading applications.
  • Demonstrate solutions to product stake holders
  • Onboard, support and mentor developers to design and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams on cross-platform/shared product functionality.
  • Complete SDLC: architecture, design, development, deployment support and maintenance.
  • Active participation in all scrum ceremonies, follow Agile best practices effectively.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $107,800 to $150,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What we're looking for:
Basic required qualifications:
  • Bachelors / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience with software development in C++ , C#, .NET Core and with data structures/algorithms.
  • Nice to have knowledge in SQL & No-SQL databases and pub sub frameworks.
  • Kafka experience is a big plus.
  • Ability to define software architecture, components, modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy specified requirements. This includes validating for correctness, functionality, reliability, and other characteristics.
  • Ability to debug, triage, and fix program code or system issues (e.g., firmware, software, application, operational, process).
  • Domain knowledge in Financial Industry and Capital Markets is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.
