Job Title: Proposal Writer
Location: Hyderabad, India (Remote)
Type: Full-Time
Shift: EST hours
 
Looking for a Proposal Writer who can coordinate proposal development through all stages, including RFP review, technical and narrative writing, editing/proofreading, production, and submission.
 
The Proposal Writer will be responsible for responding to requests for proposals, preparing presentation decks for sales calls, and a variety of other tasks. The Proposal Writer will be working with a team of other Proposal Writers for a successful software company that has been performing software implementations for over 26 years. There are tremendous growth and learning opportunities for the right Candidates.
 
Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate proposal development through all stages, including RFP review, technical and narrative writing, editing/proofreading, production, and submission (US Clients).
  2. Write and prepare compelling responses in tandem with the proposal team, SMEs, and management, including the cover letter, executive summary, past performance, project management, and technical specifications.
  3. Collaborate with marketing to generate new graphics to optimize the proposal impact.
  4. Support other departments with additional proofreading/writing tasks as needed.
  5. Work with management to review proposal documents (both RFx, any amendments, and the response) and acquire final sign-off.
  6. Format and edit/proofread all proposals for accuracy, uniformity, and compliance before submission.
  7. Contribute to the development of boilerplate documents for use in future proposal development efforts.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Past experience working as a proposal writer or in business writing or document writing or account management.
  2. Proficient with MS Office, especially Word and Excel Understanding of the business development lifecycle
  3. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time well so as to handle multiple projects at once
  4. Graphic design is a plus but not a must.
