Job Title: Infor CSI/Syteline Technical Consultant
Location: Remote with minimal travel
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Base salary + bonus incentives based on billable hours
Position Overview
We're hiring a Technical Consultant to join an Infor Gold Channel Partner focused on Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/Syteline) implementations-primarily cloud (multi-tenant/SaaS) environments. This is a technical, client-facing role where you'll support new ERP rollouts through configuration, development, data management, and integration support.
We're looking for someone who comes from the manufacturing world; someone who's been in the weeds of a CSI implementation, understands what's happening behind the forms, and can translate business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions. Prior consulting experience isn't required-but you must be comfortable working directly with clients and internal delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and support CSI/Syteline across cloud-based implementations, working closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders.
- Use the Mongoose framework to build forms, IDOs, user-defined fields, application events, and personalization logic tailored to client needs.
- Assist in data migration, validation, and clean-up for go-lives, including building import templates and loading transactional data.
- Identify and resolve system errors, performance issues, and custom logic challenges during implementations.
- Support technical integrations between CSI and other business systems (e.g., shipping, EDI, finance platforms), including API or flat file mapping.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and end-users to ensure the solution is aligned with real-world manufacturing needs.
Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience supporting or developing within Infor CSI/Syteline during an ERP implementation (internal or external)
- Experience with Mongoose development and CSI customization tools (IDOs, Application Events, Forms)
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, including queries and stored procedures
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how they tie into ERP configurations
- Clear communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and project teams
- Willingness to travel (approx. 25-35%) for client-facing workshops, testing, and go-lives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in discrete manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with multi-tenant (cloud) CSI deployments
- Exposure to tools like Factory Track, Birst, or third-party integrations
- Experience working with or for an Infor Channel Partner is a plus
