We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable virtual desktop environments within Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, networking, automation, and cloud systems management.

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/VDI) environments.

  • Support and optimize virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware.

  • Integrate and maintain Windows Server systems within Azure environments.

  • Utilize SCCM / OSD and Intune / AutoPilot for system provisioning and management.

  • Implement and maintain security best practices for virtual desktop environments.

  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and access issues within AVD.

  • Develop automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline administrative tasks.

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure system stability and end-user satisfaction.

  • Stay current with the latest Azure and virtualization advancements.

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional IT or cloud infrastructure experience.

  • In-depth expertise with Microsoft Azure, particularly AVD/VDI solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).

  • Understanding of networking principles, ports, and firewall configurations.

  • Proficiency with Windows Server administration and Active Directory integration.

  • Experience with SCCM / Intune / AutoPilot for endpoint management.

  • Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
