Job Overview:
The Payroll Compliance Analyst will join the Global Payroll Services (GPS) team, specifically within the NAM Payroll/Cross-Border Tax team. This role requires a highly analytical individual with strong organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have experience in global cross-border administration, taxation issues, Service Now, and advanced spreadsheet applications. The role involves monitoring, assessing, and analyzing business processes and data, as well as ensuring compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to CBET requests submitted through the Service Now ticketing system, ensuring cases are monitored from creation to closure with complete documentation.
  • Answer CBET inquiries via a shared mailbox and provide verbal and written feedback to vendors, employees, and global partners.
  • Perform validation checks on employee data and update records as necessary.
  • Analyze data and metrics in Excel using advanced features such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Manage critical and time-sensitive issues to ensure program compliance.
  • Support team managers and participate in area projects as assigned.
  • Participate in project work, including NYS trailing liabilities related to supplemental compensation for YE 2024/Year Start 2025.
  • Interpret, analyze, and apply statutory rules, compliance regulations, and corporate policies to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Understand and analyze complex payroll calculations and execute solutions that meet statutory regulations.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations while safeguarding the firm's reputation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year college degree).
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in payroll or related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Service Now functionality is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize work in alignment with organizational and departmental goals.
  • Capable of working efficiently in a multi-office, time-zone, and cross-cultural environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with limited supervision.

Pay Range: $32 - $37
