Description

We are looking for a skilled Marketing DevOps / CRM Developer to join support a client based in Issaquah, Washington. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing personalized marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless workflows, and optimizing CRM systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.

  • Work with strategy and creative teams to intake new campaign requests and ensure asset delivery meets agreed upon standards.
  • Creates and launches campaigns for email, push, and SMS.
  • Can be available for on-call support during high-risk periods and campaign launches.
  • Review and monitor launches and perform on-request research and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement message templates integrating dynamic logic, conditional content, and data-driven personalization.
  • Build and maintain complex, event-driven workflows in Iterable, ensuring correct event triggers, audience segmentation, logic, and action sequencing.
  • Partner with appropriate teams to develop and manage API integrations between Iterable and other platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Algonomy, Movable Ink) to support personalized, real-time messaging.
  • Ingest and transform data feeds (e.g., JSON, CSV) into Iterable for use in campaigns, utilizing metadata, catalog data, and user profile attributes.
  • Implement modular, reusable code components for use across campaigns (e.g., dynamic headers, footers, content blocks)
  • Properly test up and QA test scenarios
  • Diagnose and resolve rendering issues, data mapping inconsistencies, and logic errors using browser dev tools, logs, and Iterable debugging utilities.
  • Work with SDKs and event tracking frameworks to ensure correct data capture and trigger logic for transactional and lifecycle messaging.
  • Monitor system performance and message deliverability; work with platform tools and logs to identify and resolve bottlenecks or data sync issues.
  • Maintain version control for campaign templates and logic


Requirements

  • Personable, good communication skills, team player, ability to be both technical as well as break down complex issues and tasks to work with non-technical partners
  • 2+ years of experience building email, push and SMS campaigns within Iterable, with demonstrable expertise in setting up dynamic and personalized content
  • Strong knowledge and skills with modern front end development practices in both email and mobile
  • Experience with platforms like Movable Ink, Algonomy, and AppsFlyer
  • Experience working with API connections and data feeds
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS for email, with an understanding of mobile-responsive design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of modern front-end development frameworks and practices
