AI/ML Data Scientist 100% Remote
We are seeking a high-impact Data Scientist with deep expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, and advanced analytics to support strategic business initiatives at Waste Management. This role requires a hands-on innovator who can blend diverse datasets, build complex predictive models, and deploy scalable AI solutions that generate measurable operational and financial outcomes.

Required Technical Skills
- AI/ML: Predictive modeling, NLP, deep learning, LLMs (GPT, BERT, LangChain).
- Programming: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
- Data Engineering: Expert SQL, Snowflake, Palantir experience.
- Cloud & MLOps: AWS services (SageMaker, S3, Redshift), model pipelines, CI/CD.
- Version Control: Git proficiency for collaboration and reviews.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical thinking with a curious and innovative mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive and non-technical audiences.
- Strong business acumen to connect data solutions with enterprise goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in CS, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience building dashboards (Power BI, Streamlit, Dash).
- Exposure to reinforcement learning or agent-based AI systems.
