Data Center Technician

Join a dynamic team supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced data center environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation and a hands-on approach to hardware, cabling, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Installation & Configuration

• Rack and stack servers, switches, routers, and other network devices
• Set up and configure hardware components according to specifications

Troubleshooting & Break-Fix

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues
• Provide smart hands support for remote teams
• Perform decommissioning of cables and active gear

Preventative Maintenance & Upgrades

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with hardware upgrades and replacements as needed

Monitoring & Documentation

• Use monitoring tools to track system performance and identify issues
• Maintain accurate records of configurations, changes, and tasks

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Experience with rack-and-stack procedures
• Proficiency in troubleshooting servers, routers, and switches
• Familiarity with structured cabling and decommissioning practices
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and hardware

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and professional email etiquette
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow detailed instructions

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment as needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
