About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technology Operations Analyst to join our Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning and managing user access across multiple lines of business, ensuring secure and compliant access to critical systems and databases. You will collaborate closely with database administrators, application teams, and internal stakeholders to determine appropriate access levels and maintain operational integrity.

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technology Operations Analyst to join our Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning and managing user access across multiple lines of business, ensuring secure and compliant access to critical systems and databases. You will collaborate closely with database administrators, application teams, and internal stakeholders to determine appropriate access levels and maintain operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision, modify, and revoke user access across platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Yugabyte, and DB2.
- Collaborate with DBAs and application teams to assess and implement access requirements.
- Manage and resolve access-related tickets using systems such as ServiceNow, ART, Remedy, or Pac2000.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical access issues in a timely and customer-focused manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of access provisioning activities.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent access requests or incidents.
- Utilize Excel and/or Access to analyze data, generate reports, and support audit and compliance efforts.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to extract and validate access data.
- Support remediation efforts and ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in access provisioning or identity and access management (IAM).
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Yugabyte, or DB2.
- Proficiency with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, ART, Remedy, or Pac2000.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SQL and/or Microsoft Access for querying and data extraction.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with MySQL, PowerShell, or Python for task automation.
- Experience in access remediation projects or audit support.
- Exposure to general database concepts and security best practices.
