Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a System Engineer II with experience in:
  • Business process management systems and related process engineering efforts, including process-specific modeling/simulation
  • Strategic planning, project/task leadership, and organizational restructuring/transformation
  • Providing business process and systems level documentation and analysis to identify opportunities for leveraging Business Process Management System (BPMS) solutions to automate and improve human-based workflows
  • Applying descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to identify and implement system, process, and mission metrics that provide awareness of data as it flows through end-to-end organizational processes
  • Experience with various programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and database development is preferred so that the analyst can implement basic workflows in the IBM BPM tool using out-of-the-box functionality.

Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
  • Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develops technical documentation.
  • Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
  • Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interacts with the clients regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicates with other program personnel, client overseers, and senior executives.

Here's what you need:
  • 5 years of experience in systems engineering (SE)
  • 3 years of experience leading/managing technical solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline OR 5 additional years of SE experience, in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required to start

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
