Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking a seasoned ERP Project Manager to support a client in the Government industry in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of a major ERP implementation project. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in managing complex ERP programs, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering results within scope, budget, and timeline. This person will be responsible for holding stakeholders accountable and ensuring the ERP system aligns with the organization's business needs.
Duration: 18-month contract
Location: Salem, Oregon (100% onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-5pm)

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively for ERP implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executives, department heads, and IT teams, holding them accountable and ensuring alignment throughout the project.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, manage financials, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Resource Allocation: Manage internal teams, third-party vendors, and consultants to meet project goals.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor two mid-level project managers assigned to the ERP initiative.
- Process Optimization: Ensure the ERP solution meets business needs and drives operational efficiency.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives to support user adoption and organizational alignment.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project KPIs and milestones to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Post-Implementation Support: Conduct post-go-live evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of ERP project management experience with full-cycle implementation.
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale technology projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP platforms.
