Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to support a high-impact federal IT program in Washington, DC. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead initiatives that improve and modernize mission-critical IT systems.

You will lead infrastructure upgrades and system migrations such as:

  • Azure and Microsoft Dynamics migrations

  • RedHat (RHEL) and Windows Server/Desktop OS upgrades

  • Oracle Database & Middleware upgrades

  • ZTA implementation

  • NetBackup modernization

  • Mobile device refresh projects

You ll guide cross-functional teams including systems engineers, DBAs, sysadmins, and stakeholders from the federal government, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple infrastructure projects end-to-end

  • Conduct Scrum ceremonies and apply Agile methodology

  • Coordinate stakeholder participation and communication

  • Assess and mitigate project risks

  • Track and report progress against plans

  • Document lessons learned and improve project delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree

  • 8+ years of project management in IT environments

  • PMP Certification (mandatory)

  • Agile and Scrum experience

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Microsoft SQL Server

    • Cisco infrastructure

    • Azure Cloud

    • Oracle servers

  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with:

    • Microsoft technologies

    • Change and Release Management

    • IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS environments

    • Azure DevOps Server for project tracking

  • Familiarity with:

    • Active Directory

    • Windows OS

    • Office 365 and cloud desktop applications

  • Technical certifications (preferred)
