Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in our Miami, Florida office. In this role, you will blend technical expertise with sales abilities to meet our clients' and our own IT needs. Your main function will be to liaise with clients' IT departments, CFOs, and/or Owners, recommend solutions that align with our offerings, and contribute to technical decision-making for clients' business success.

Responsibilities:

Engage in business planning, budgeting, and strategy discussions with designated clients

Recommend solutions to clients that align with our offerings, thereby creating new opportunities

Contribute to technical decision-making to facilitate clients' business success

Evaluate existing technology and propose enhancements for increased efficiency

Assist in developing technical budgets and technology plans

Ensure clients' IT systems are optimized for their needs

Coordinate new client onboarding processes

Employ skills in Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

Utilize knowledge in Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, Design, and Digital technologies

Collaborate effectively in a team-selling environment

Requirements

Must hold a senior leadership role related to information technology

Must have a proven track record in setting IT strategy and delivering results

Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud Technologies

Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

Must have comprehensive understanding of database management and structures

Experience with EO/IR systems is required

Expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Must have a solid understanding of Computer Hardware

Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and management

Must have experience in managing and overseeing technology deployments

Must have a strong background in design thinking and implementing digital strategies

Should possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Must have a strategic and innovative mindset to drive digital transformation

Ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams effectively

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred

Must have a minimum of 10 years of IT leadership experience

Proven experience in budget and financial management

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

Must demonstrate a strong understanding of current and emerging technology trends and developments
