Overview
The Senior Vice President, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering & Development is a visionary technology leader responsible for defining and executing the enterprise architecture strategy, leading software engineering initiatives, and driving innovation through data, analytics, and AI platforms. This role ensures that the organization s technology ecosystem is scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint across applications, data, infrastructure, and security to ensure scalability and alignment with business strategy.
- Engineering & Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance applications and platforms, establishing best practices in DevOps and agile methodologies.
- Data & Analytics: Architect and oversee modern data platforms that enable self-service analytics, data governance, and organizational data literacy.
- AI & Emerging Technologies: Drive adoption of AI/ML solutions to enhance personalization, efficiency, and predictive capabilities; evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
- Team & Vendor Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of architects, engineers, and data professionals; manage relationships with key technology vendors and partners.
- Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards, embedding security into all layers of the architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or executive education in digital transformation preferred.
- 12 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, or platform development, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Proven record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives across complex organizations.
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or consumer-facing industries is a plus.
Skills & Expertise
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modern patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in data architecture, analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), and AI/ML ecosystems (Azure ML, Databricks, AWS SageMaker, OpenAI APIs).
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Experience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, and presenting to executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
