Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract to hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Help with testing AI/ML solutions that drive growth for our line of business partners
• Test end-to-end AI systems (from data ingestion and model development and monitoring)
• Test solutions confirming are robust, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with other development teams to manage interdependency, set up test cases, debug and maintain data quality
• Ensure software stability via documentation, reviews, regression and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with other development teams to manage interdependency, set up test cases, debug and maintain data quality
• Document Test Plan, Test cases, Execution logs per Enterprise Change Management standards and be accountable for Testing process governance
• Ensure software stability via documentation, code reviews, regression, unit and user acceptance testing
• Test and validate ETL processes using SQL, ETL tools, Python and Linux shell scripting to deliver high quality solutions
• Test and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support business strategies
• Translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging trends in data science, AI, and GenAI
• Proactively explore new tools and techniques, sharing learnings with the team

Requirements:

• Strong quality engineering fundamentals with ETL experience and a passion for applying AI and machine learning to real-world problems
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL
• Python
• Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Desired skills:

• ETL Tools (Informatica)
• Data Engineering
• Data Analytics
• Background in Financial Services (Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Business Banking)

Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26
