We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Senior Consultant to join our team in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Anaplan model building, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), sales & operations planning (S&OP), and enterprise performance management (EPM).
This role involves engaging directly with clients, understanding their business processes, and designing scalable, efficient Anaplan solutions that drive business transformation.

• Understand clients business planning and performance management processes and related business requirements.

• Conceive and develop Proof of Concept (POC) models to demonstrate the flexibility and capabilities of the Anaplan platform.

• Design and implement detailed blueprints that translate business requirements into enterprise-grade Anaplan models, including modules, lists, line items, and calculations.

• Develop project timelines, staffing plans, and sprint schedules, translating designs into actionable development plans.

• Manage and support multiple customer engagements simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Apply strong multi-dimensional modeling expertise to build scalable and optimized Anaplan solutions.

• Translate complex Excel models into efficient, low-sparsity Anaplan models with improved usability and maintainability.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, charts, complex formulas) to design, analyze, and optimize data flows.

• Collaborate closely with clients, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Bring domain expertise in one or more areas:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) / Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

  • Sales Performance Management (Quota/Territory Planning, Incentive Compensation)

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

• Integrate Anaplan with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, APS) using connectors like MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, or Anaplan APIs.

• Apply Anaplan Agile implementation methodology for model delivery and optimization.

• Lead a team of 5 15 members and ensure project deliverables are met on time and with quality.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Anaplan model building and solution design.

• Minimum 3 successful end-to-end Anaplan implementation projects as a Solution Architect or Senior Model Builder.

• Strong hands-on experience with Anaplan model building, including model optimization and performance tuning.

• Advanced Excel proficiency expert in formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data analysis.

• Strong client-facing and communication skills, with a successful record of project delivery in consulting environments.

• Experience implementing Anaplan solutions across FP&A, S&OP, or EPM domains.

• Prior experience with on-premise performance management systems (e.g., SAP BPC, IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion).

• Experience delivering projects for large multinational organizations in analytical or data-driven environments.

• Familiarity with data integration tools and Anaplan APIs.

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
