Job Details

Position Description: The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SharePoint environments within a secure infrastructure. In addition to system administration tasks, the role includes ticket triage and resolution, user support, and coordinating with various teams to ensure SharePoint services are accessible, compliant, and efficient. Candidates must be comfortable working in a mission-driven environment and capable of addressing both technical and user-facing issues.

Position Job Duties:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments (on-premises and/or SharePoint Online)
  • Manage user permissions, groups, and site collections in compliance with security policies
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
  • Collect, triage, and expedite service tickets related to SharePoint access, configuration, and performance issues
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving issues promptly
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Work with stakeholders to design and implement new SharePoint sites and workflows
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools
  • Ensure system compliance with DoD cybersecurity and accreditation requirements (STIGs, patches, etc.)
  • Collaborate with IT teams, security personnel, and business units to ensure SharePoint solutions meet mission requirements
