Location: 3 days in Bradenton, FL office, 2 days remote 

Salary: $135,000-150,000 DOE

  • AI Experience (preferably CoPilot, Claude, OpenAI or similar LLMs)


Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Developer to oversee end-to-end data engineering initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and drive innovation through AI integration. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines

  • Manage and mentor a team of 6 developers

  • Drive AI-driven process enhancements to improve data quality and delivery

  • Implement and enforce secure coding practices

  • Adhere to structured software development lifecycle protocols

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting system performance and stability

  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of production incidents

  • Communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Partner with product and business teams to evaluate and refine technical requirements

  • Support and enhance monitoring tools and participate in on-call support rotations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in database development using modern ETL tools and platforms (e.g., SSIS, ADF)

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database design

  • Hands-on experience applying AI technologies to optimize workflows and code quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in a consumer-facing or retail environment

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and DevOps principles

  • Experience integrating multiple data platforms (e.g., DB2, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server)

  • Exposure to cloud environments and AI tools (e.g., Azure, GitHub Copilot, Claude)

  • Experience with modern integration patterns and APIs (e.g., Pub/Sub, SOAP, REST)
