Journeyman Lineman UniSource Energy Services is seeking a Journeyman Lineman for its Kingman, AZ location.

- $56.28/hr \t
- Double time for all overtime \t
- Relocation Assistance available \t
- Full benefit package including a 401(k) with a 6% non-discretionary company contribution and a 4.5% dollar-for-dollar matching contribution

- \t\tGuiding the work of Apprentices and Helpers working with him/her. \t \t
- \t\tAssembly of wood pole electrical lines and components. \t \t
- \t\tInstallation of underground conduit systems. \t \t
- \t\tInstallation of URD systems. \t \t
- \t\tConnection of all types of transformers and other equipment used on overhead and underground lines. \t \t
- \t\tDrive and operate all equipment to accomplish daily work and, and possess a Class A CDL Operators license. \t \t
- \t\tPerform switching and install hold tags on the electrical systems, as required. \t \t
- \t\tMaintain a high level of awareness and responsibility for environmental considerations that impact them, their jobs, and the Company to the level of their knowledge, training, and experience. \t \t
- \t\tPerform emergency service restoration \t \t
- \t\tPerform assigned work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company practices and procedures. \t \t
- This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company, subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.

- \t\tCompletion of an accredited Lineman/Cable Apprenticeship program or equivalent \t \t
- Must have a commercial driver's license \t
- \t\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required \t \t
- \t\tKnowledge of Company policies and procedures \t \t
- \t\tThorough understanding of utility distribution and transmission systems, both overhead and underground. \t \t
- \t\tKnowledgeable about electric utility services, products, service requirements and construction standards. \t \t
- \t\tKnowledgeable about codes, ordinances, franchise agreements and Blue Stake laws. \t \t
- \t\tThis employee will be qualified to climb poles and operate aerial lifts and other construction equipment, and will be expected to work on energized equipment at any voltage level in conformance with training and safe work practices. \t \t
- \t\tUses technical knowledge of UES s distribution system and policies to creatively solve problems dealing with both internal and external customers. \t \t
- \t\tAbility to lead and work on a team effectively. \t \t
- \t\tDemonstrate leadership and planning skills. \t \t
- \t\tAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and written. \t \t
- \t\tAbility to combine input from a variety of sources and make sound business decisions based on this information. \t \t
- \t\tRead blueprints, maps, drawings, and work request packages. \t \t
