Overview

IRG Clients is seeking a Senior Oracle Financial Specialist to lead and support the agency's Oracle R12 Financial Management System (FMS). This role involves maintaining, enhancing, and integrating Oracle ERP modules with Workday, while ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Oracle R12 Financial Management System (FMS), including customizations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Workday HCM/Payroll and Financial Integration teams on data mapping, bridge integrations, and report development.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Oracle reports, interfaces, and custom solutions.
  • Assist internal IT teams and business users in troubleshooting, system improvements, and process optimizations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (CFO, IT Manager, functional users) to gather requirements, plan projects, and implement approved solutions.
  • Create and maintain project plans, test plans, user guides, and documentation.
  • Manage system issues, escalations, and coordinate with Oracle for patches and product support.
  • Ensure smooth integration between Oracle ERP and Workday ahead of the FMS sunset in October 2025.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x.
  • Strong technical (60%) and functional (40%) expertise across Oracle Financials.
  • Proficiency in key modules: General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO), Grants, Projects, HRMS, and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL).
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Workflow, OAF, BI/XML Publisher
    • SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting, Java, JDeveloper, SQL Developer
    • Oracle Database 11g/12c
  • Prior experience developing integrations between Oracle ERP and Workday (preferred).
  • Strong background in performance tuning, customizations, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience with OBIEE reports and analytics.
