Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Windows upgrade

Location: Bethpage, LI, NY (5 days in a week) Work Type: Onsite only (5 days/ week)

Responsibilities:

Assist in establishing plans for project execution and execute them.

• Manage risks and issues across the project and take corrective actions where needed.
• Perform actual vs. planned analysis.
• Provide oversight for all aspects of assigned projects including budget management, resource allocation, kick off meetings, project planning, project execution and control, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and project implementation.
• Develop project estimates and refine throughout the life of the project working with the Controller using standard and industry leading methods
• Work with Project Scheduler to develop project schedule.
• Develop RACI to establish proper governance and set clear expectation on responsibilities.
• Lead the project team through all stages of execution of the project plan and direct all project activities to ensure progress to schedule, budget and planned business case benefits.
• Facilitate stakeholder and governance communication.

Required:

• 5+ years of IT Project Management Experience
• Strong communication skills, should be able to take the lead and work in a diverse team, various types of stakeholders
• CMMI exp
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Well-versed in Waterfall methodology.
• Experience in applying and managing the Stage Gate Process to ensure structured decision-making and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally as required for project support, including visits to field offices
