Power BI Developer - 12+ Month Contract - Austin, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months (Long-Term Contract)

What You ll Do

Design, build, and deploy complex dimensional data models and interactive Power BI reports from the ground up

Create data visualizations that transform complex information into intuitive, meaningful stories on the report canvas

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop agency-wide analytics solutions that break new ground

Write, test, and deploy Power BI scripts using Python, M, and DAX to support deep data analysis

Optimize report performance and maintain data accuracy across dashboards

Bring your creativity to the table to reimagine how data can drive decisions
Minimum Required Qualifications

| 8 | Required | Mastery in data analytics, turning numbers into insights |
| 4 | Required | Building dynamic, interactive dashboards with Power BI |
| 4 | Required | Creating, testing, and deploying Power BI scripts (Python, M, DAX) for complex analysis |
| 4 | Preferred | Prior hands-on experience in data-related tasks beyond reporting |
| 1 | Preferred | Experience with Source Control tools like Git or Bitbucket |
| 1 | Preferred | Familiarity with SAS datasets (.sas7bdat) |
| 1 | Preferred | Experience with Jira for issue tracking and agile workflows |
| 1 | Preferred | Previous experience working in state government environments |
| 1 | Preferred | Exposure to other BI tools such as SAP BI or Tableau |
